Catch the Rhythms of the Night

The hypnotic beat of jungle drums and mesmerizing dancers are all part of Vallarta Adventures Rhythms of the Night excursion. There are stunning dancers, a mystical performance, plus much more.
The show starts off with pounding of ancient jungle drums, athletic dancers parading through the crowd in ceremonial costumes - some chaperoning wild animals. The performance is a fusion of pre-Hispanic and contemporary dance accompanied by live music played on all-naturally made instruments.
The proud history of Mexico is expressed on the pyramid stage in the jungle theater at Las Caletas. The dancers and musicians share their passion for their culture through this musical interpretation of an ancient marriage ceremony. They illustrate life in a long-forgotten Mexico.
"We want to make sure that visitors see and experience some of Mexico's history. The dancers and musicians are all from Mexico and the show is something truly Mexican," say Brenda Vital, Choreographer. "We work very hard to make this program like no other in the world."
Fire dancers wave flaming rods to cleanse the spirits of the newly joined couple. The spectacular show not only fires up the audience, but it is truly something special because most of the cast have been part of this show for over five years. Entertaining six nights per week with rehearsals four days a week, these performers fine tune the natural instruments and fine tune their bodies. They bend over backwards to get the moves just right.
"I enjoy the adrenalin and the emotion of performing for 500 people live, they are watching you and receive our energy," says Choreographer and Dancer, Jose Tobilla. "The level of quality that we put into our work here is great and has transformed over the years, but the rush from performing live is always very strong."
Live music and wild life under the stars, real and imagined, create an aura of stepping back in time. Rhythms of the Night is a riveting experience and a night you will never forget.
